Find a decent library and take a look at

Shipway, B. 1949. Notes on the natural history of the pigmy perch
(Nannoperca vittata). Western Australian Naturalist. 2(1): 1-9.

Shipway published a few interesting articles in WA Nat around the late 40's
early 50's. Well worth checking out his writings, especially the one on
spangled perch migrations.

There is some more recent stuff such as predation by redfin (Perca
fluviatilis) on them in SW WA that was in the Proceedings of the Royal
Society of WA around 1992 or 3 but I don't have the exact title or
reference. Any decent library should get this journal in WA. There may
be others but I don't have access to most of my literature due to the
expense of flying across the Pacific Ocean. :-)
