M. Praecox is a wonderful fish, they are active, peaceful and hardy. I have
also heard that they are easy to breed.
As far as food and water conditions, I think that they can be treated like any
other rainbow. Currently I have two praecox in my rainbow tank and they seem
perfectly happy. If you have the room in your tank, I would recommend
that you get 3 to 7 praecox because they will school and they are so beautiful
and playful.
