[RML] Golden Pearch - help please

I have an opportunity to acquire a golden perch He is about 25 cm. There is
only one tank I can house it in at the moment, a six foot one with a small
population of larger fish. There is a jungle perch about 22 cm, so smaller &
not as deep as the golden perch. I have a gudgeon about 21 cm whom I would
like identified. Two salmon tail catfish about 25 cm. An energetic ell tail
catfish about 19 cm. These fish enjoy regular feedings of live food (more
live food than dried).

I do not know much about the golden perch. Being a perch it will stretch in
my tank (several times the size of the one it is in now). But is it likely
to fit in? Will it harm my current happy community or a couple of its
members?

Can you tell me about the golden perch? Is it Aussie or foreign?
