John, I have had tanks stored for years that still hold water - yet have
had others leak after being empty for a period of months. I think it is
all relative to the age and type of sealant used on the tanks,
notwithstanding that some movement damage can cause the same result
(stained carpet syndrome, that is a leaking tank). There is a probability
that the tanks will leak after storage.
