Heay Roy,

O. marmoratus is probably the largest species of Gudgeon/goby known so far
- grows up to 460 mm TL or thereabouts. Natural Range is Malaysia, Borneo,
Sulawesi. Phillipines etc perhaps even to Fiji.

Apparently a delicacy steamed with shredded eschallots and sesame oil and a
little soy sauce poured over just before serving ;-)

Pictures suggest a nice marbled pattern.

Ok fish heads I have someone wanting info on an Oxyeleotris Marmoratus. I
cant even find the fish. I am not even sure Oxyeleotris are from NG as I
have no books that list this fish and I have not seen it in any OZ fish
book nor the FOS. So this is what the list is for.... Bruce should be able
to answer this blindfolded providing he isnt chewing on a piece of gum...
:-). This person says he has the fish and he is in the US.... Has the
species A been described? If this is a real fish how in the heck did it
come into the hobby??

Chew on this one if you will......
