I have been keeping rainbows for about 7 years and greatly
enjoy viewing them in the wild. I have a few at home that
come from places I have visited. I keep about 10 tanks,
with some single species and others communities - genarally
location type tanks. My wife likes to breed bristle nose catfish,
but that is her problem. I have a keen interest in aquatic plants
and like Australian natives the most. I also love to view aquatic
plants in the wild and record their habitat, water conditions etc.
It seems to me that rainbows do best when kept in a fully planted
aquarium.
I think that it is terrific that we can share our interest in a forum
such as this!
