Hello all,
I thought I'd better post this before Rooster causes me any more grief. (By
the way, Royboy was the one to wimp out on skiing last time because it was
too cold.)
I was born in the early 60's in the frozen wastelands of Iowa. No, not Idaho.
Iowa is located in the middle of the USA. Lots of farms and pigs. Alas, not
many sheep. Therefore, dates were hard to come by. When I was about 10, we
had the typical 10 gallon aquarium that recieved a complete cleaning every
few months. Gee- wonder why everything always died soon afterwards?
I attended Iowa State University and got a degree in Animal Science,
then continued at ISU for my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. I then
worked in a clinic in Pennsylvania for a couple years working on horses,
cows, goats, pigs,SHEEP, cats, dogs. Hated Pennsylvania, so I quit and was
unemployed for 9 months. Life was bad.
Got a job in Colorado (where I had worked during school) working on dogs
and cats. I've cut off so many nuts that I can't even sit sown without
crossing my legs.
I bought my first aquarium (after puberty) in 1990 and immediately started
with saltwater fish. God, what a cock-up. I soon saw some rainbows at a local
pet store. Decided I needed some. Joined the RSG. Saw Hunters ad. Lived
nearby. Went up to see him. Seemed like a normal human being. Bought some
fish from him. Got hooked on rainbows.
Couldn't find any quality fish besides the ones I had gotten from Roy.
Talked to Gary Lange on the phone. Got some eggs from him. They did great.
(By the way-Gary and I are not related-notice the spelling Lang vs. Lange).
Got more fish from Roy. They did great. Met Scott Buckel when he moved to
Colorado. Got more fish from him. They did great. His all died. Took him
skiing. Ask him about it.
So that is where I am today. I am single, so any hot babes are welcome
to respond-PLEASE. Waiting for a nice warm day to go skiing wth Rooster so he
won't get cold. If I get motivated, I may comment on the recent diseased
rainbows thread.
