There ya go Bruce, my thumb nail although I'm not really sure why you
wanted it?

But seriously, my name is Cary Hostrawser and I'm a bowoholic. I've
been keeping fish for 26 years and was a generalist until I got into
bows. I've always had a thing for gobies and gudgeons, picking up any
I could find. Had my first bow over 20 years ago when absolutely
nothing was known about them in the States. From what I know now it
was some form of splendida. As to my state in the USA, its often a
state of confusion, but I reside in MinneSnowta. I'm a member of RSG,
the Minnesota Aquarium Society, ANGFA and one of these days when I get
around to converting Dollars to Duechmarks (sp) probably IRG. I keep
about 50 tanks now at present and keep around 30 species of Sahul
natives. I do keep a few token cichlids around. Mainly they haven't
died since I started really dedicating myself to bows. I still like my
koi, but the passion for them faded after I started keeping bows. But
then the cost a quality koi could have had something to do with that.
My present favorite bow (it changes a couple of times each year) is
the misoolensis Batanta Island. My favorite Blue-eye is P tenellus,
well except for the Kiunga ballochi but I'm not holding my breath on
getting that one. My favorite gudgeon is Mogurnda sp Dalhousie. I've
got one my daughter calls "Funny Fish", he's really quite the
character.
To make money to support my addiction, well I guess my family too,
I'm and electrical engineer designing the controls for custom
manufacturing machines. "I'm sorry sir, but you have to at least push
the start button before the machine works. The brain reading software
won't be ready for a couple of years".

I've bared my soul (not to mention my thumb) to the rainbow world at
large, now my shame at being a bowohalic is public.

who's next?
