Bruce "Dag" has me at a disadvantage - I have never heard or seen a picture
of a fish called M. pierucciae (and I hope Roy doesn't think that looks
French and starts that thread up again ;-)

My version of a Waterfall Creek Rainbow is a form of M. exquisita form
above the UDP Falls in Kakadu National Park in the N.T. There seems to be
some contention about whether it should be a "new" species or not. Some
unkind commentators have even suggested that as it is from Australia and
not PNG it will never happen.

Greetings from the Washington, D.C. area where a "new" rainbow fish has hit
the stores under the name of Waterfall Creek Rainbow. It looks like photos
I' ve seen of M. pierucciae. Has anyone heard of this bow?
