Given this description could this not also be M. praecox. Sparkling blue
sides? Depending on how you define what he means by "red thru the tail and
dorsal fin(s)"
that could also describe praecox. The size of 7 cm is also consistent with
this fish. Since Doley already has most of the other NG fish available
there's no reason to think that he might not also be producing this one (if
it was being supplied by him).
