Gee thanks Bruce, can't say that I'm all that interested in whitebait
actually. It makes fair fritters, at least the egg is tasty anyway, but all
the eyes looking at her as she eats it puts my daughter right off it.
I'm told by NZers that in some of the late runs there are a fair few elvers
mixed up in the haul as well.
