I have a clutch of blue eyes, Pseudomugil cyanodorsalis, in 1.017
specific gravity salt water (about 6 tablespoons per gallon) What
rainbows can I keep with them?? Is signifier an option? The cyanos
spend almost all their time on top of the water and I would like
something to occupy the middle and lower reaches of the aquarium. How
have others decorated an aquarium of this type? I have three mops in
it. The bottom, back and sides are painted a royal blue. Only one of
the fish grew into a male but they are laying eggs already. I hear that
they will not eat their fry, have others had this experience too. I am
not a real fan of salt water and don't want several saltwater/brackish
water tanks.
With the small size of cyanodorsalis I know my options are limited.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
