I cant understand why people think this list is just for fish talk???
Didn't the core people vote for this format? I do believe those of us that
are friends use this to talk about fish, yes, and also to keep in touch
with one another. I would hate to see our phone bills if we didn't have the
list! I just wish Neil would hurry up and get his wankertronics working so
I dont have to call him. That long winded old Budgie can cost you a mint!
:-) Worth every penny talking to him though!

Can you imagine how boring a fish only list would be? I'd hate it. We have
a hard enough time finding issues to keep this one in fish talk 100% of the
time. I enjoy the fellowship we have on the list sometimes moreso than the
fish talk.

Guys, if you dont like the format of the list, well, I am sorry. It is not
here for you to get fish info all the time. This is our social club. You
subscribed to it and you can un-subscribe just as fast or you can join in
and have some fun with the rest of us. That is the whole point... to have
fun. I cant speak for everyone else but the jokes and such sure go a long
way to make my day a lot better.

Andrew if you told them the only reason you and Alan named it the
rainbowfish mailing list was that this is the common interest we have
together but it was created for the sake of having an avenue to COMMUNICATE
maybe everyone would understand (maybe). :-)

GOD!!!! I just came up with a novel idea!!!!! If you want just fish
subjects JOIN ANGFA!!! That is what you get in the bulletins and Fishes of
Sahul. That is the primary goal of ANGFA, SAHUL FISH INFORMATION! One of
these days someone will make Andrew really angry and we wont have the list.
The people who will get the worst of the deal are the people that make the
list what it is, not the people that wish it were something else.

I think a little note in the FAQ saying that the list is also the social
gathering of people that share a common interest and it is used for
communication between friends, aquatence's, etc. and is not necessarily
rainbowfish specific information may go a long way. When they complain,
well they knew what they were getting into when they subscribed.

I am sorry Andrew that you have to put up with this on a regular basis.
You are to be commended for your tolerance and patience.
(Alan would have UN-subscribed most of us a long time ago :-) )
