Dear Roy,

Thank-you for your more than generous offer. I'd be estatic (excuse
the spelling) if you would bring back for bottom dwellers for me. I'm not
sure of the logistics of bringing these animals out of Australia, but if it
presents little or no problem to yourself it sounds great.
Any animals you gave me would definatly be for the zoo (I've just
moved down here and only have a couple of 10's set up a the moment). I'm
forced to focus on bottom dwellers for the moment because this display tank
is quite full of rainbows as it is, and the majority of our reserve is
taken up with endangered Madagascar fishes.
I'd be happy to pay you for the fish you bring back, but this may
need to be done out of my pocket to keep things simple (City rules and regs
etc, etc.). Just let me know how much (before hand so I can see if I can
swing it) but I don't anticipate a problem.
I don't have a car at the moment, but I'd like to, when I finally
do become mobile, get a tour of your fish room. I hope that wasn't too
forward but I've no idea how to broach that subject gently, and I am more
than understanding to a person's wish for privacy.
I hope that if you're ever in my way with some time, that you'd
stop in at the zoo (e-mail me first I'll sneak you in the back) and I'll
give you a tour of our little fish operation. I just started working with
an undescribed rainbow from Madagascar (wild caught), and if things go well
I should have some fry sometime down the line. If things go really well my
supervisor may allow me to dole some out to private hobbists in the
neighbourhood. I'll let you know when we start getting fry and maybe I can
get some to you if your interested.
Thanks for the help,

Cheers,

Alex
