When: 6th, 7th, and 8th of June 1997.
Where: Community-Builiding 'Odina'. Adress: Prinses Marijkeweg 2, Arkel.
The program consists of a social gathering on friday evening. On saturday we have three very interesting
slide lectures in German and Dutch language, one on buildung aquariums and breeding rooms, the second
on the genus Pseudomugil, the third on a travel through Australia and we have a fish sale over the whole
day.
The lady's program consists of a visit of the glass museum in Leedam on saturday. On saturday evening we
planned a romantic steamer travel on the River Linge, a small river near Arkel. During the travel we will
have a buffet with cold and warm meals (costs are 40 dutch guilder excl. drinks per person). On sunday
morning we have the official annual general meeting of the IRG.
Friday evening June 6th:
from 19.00 Social gathering. We meet in the community building Odina. Registration.
Saturday June 7th:
9.30 All who offer fish (and other things) can start to build up their offers on the
desks.
10.30 Registration and opening of the fish sale for the public.
12.30 Break and lunch.
13.30 Lecture by Hans Herbert Boeck: „Measurement, silicon and aquariums".
14.30 Break and fish sale.
15.00 Lecture by Wim Heemskerk jr. on the genus Pseudomugil, the blue-eyes.
16.00 Break and fish sale.
16.30 Lecture by Gilbert Maebe on his latest trip to Australia.
17.30 Break and chance to go to the hotel to refresh.
19.30 Ship leaving in Leerdam. We stay on board until 23.30 h.
Sunday June 8th.
10.30 Official general meeting of the IRG.
12.00 End
It is possible to stay near Arkel during the meeting. Please see regsitration form.

steamer travel and send it back as quick as possible to the address of Maarten van der Vlist,

number. The costs for the steamer have to be paid to Maarten van der Vlist on June 6th or 7th, the hotel
has to be paid directly.
