The red boesemani is a cross Mach. That fish has been around for
years. It supposedly is an infertile cross, (one of a very few that
are infertile, judging by the amounts that are now coming out of
Florida) at least according to the people that have also bought
females along with the males and then tried breeding them. I'm
pretty sure that they don't have any boesemani in them but I'm not
going to comment on exactly what is in them as we really don't need
any more experiments :-) Although they are one of the more "pretty"
crosses they get quite aggressive and often end up destroying more
desirable fishes.
