The township of 1770 is situated at Round Hill Head just north of Agnes
Waters.
Deepwater Creek flows out of Deepwater National Park situated just south of
Agnes Watres - both have been in existence for quite some time. Perhaps you
need a new map ;-)
Perhaps Alan Salmon's offer may do the trick?

I found the Elliot and Agnes Waters but not Deepwater and 1770. Our
library has all of Australia covered on 1:250 000 maps (thankfully).
Could you be a little more specific in where those other two places are?
