I found the Elliot and Agnes Waters but not Deepwater and 1770. Our
library has all of Australia covered on 1:250 000 maps (thankfully).
Could you be a little more specific in where those other two places are?

That would certainly be a very interesting record if in fact it is
correct. The fact that splendidas are in the Elliot just south of the
Burnett is pretty interesting too. One would anticipate that a sharp
boundary would exist, however this is obviously not the case. It will
also be interesting to see what is going on in other species that change
in the same area (ie C.s.stercusmuscarum and C.s. fulvus).
