an update. The offending file originated as an attachment from an email from a
list member in Denmark, who was likely just another victim of this nasty little
creature. I've passed what details I have onto the admin team here.
These things happen. All we can do is use operating systems that are slightly
less prone to this kind of attack and stay educated.
I must say it is gratifying to get mail from the administrators of a dozen
different servers all letting me know about the virus.
