I don't know if Al Anderson is still on the RML list but he is a die-hard
killi-nut. Several years ago his local club in Indianapolis was nothing but
a sorry bunch of cichlid fans. (some pretty good ones though). They would
taunt him about his "stupid, unimportant minnows" that went for .50 a pair.
Then one day they started noticing that Al was now buying their young
cichlids at the meetings. Even with those rare cichlids that you bought for
$50 a pair, if they are true to form, they eventually produce so many fish
that they end up going for $1 a bag at the auction. They laughed and
laughed at Al. "You've finally gotten with the program" they said,
"Cichlids rule", or something to that effect. He said, "yes, I guess you
all have given me food for thought".

Turns out that "Thought" was his 4 inch snapping turtle! Once they found
out all of the cichlid bags started going for higher prices so they didn't
become turtle food!
