After that we popped out to western Queensland to collect some unusual
rainbows from the Warrego, Paroo, and Bulloo rivers to bring back alive (for a
change) to get some live photographs from the Budgie. Managed to finally get
a decent series of an Ambassis from the Bulloo River to figure what they are
(or for Jerry to!). The Bulloo was actually flowing (at 3.2 meters) which was
kinda unusual, been a wet year out there.

Now it is off to Perth for a few days for a conference on biodiversity in
Australia, then back here to Melbourne chasing more blackfish and pygmy perch
and Sydney chasing Macquarie perch to take back to Arizona for my main
studies. Thanks again to Jennifer, Bruce, Rob, and Steve Books for your
hospitality and help in locating fishes! Your help was invaluable!

Cheers
