Just a quick note. My friends were able to raise 7 fry out of the
thousands that hatched. Started with marine micro algae. Then enriched
marine rotifers. Odd thing is that they are born really premature, no eyes
and really a poor mouth. They seem to filter micro organisms out of the
water. Found that they have a problem eating algae in bright light,
stomach fills up with O2 from photosynthesis.
At freeswimming stage their heads are about the same size of marine
rotifers.
They need to fine tune and should be possible to raise in a
controled system.
