Adrian,
be careful for what you wish for a few weeks back I was saying it
was too cool (about 21) my fish wern't spawning or growing. Now it is back
up in to about 26. I am sure it is giving my fish the wrong ideas (early
thaw then late frost injury) and I will have tons of eggs in the wrong time
of the year and my fry will feel the cold in Jan and Febuary (I haven't had
the need for too many heaters yet, only for the fry tanks for P. signifer,
Ross River population (I supose it is from up north and thus needs higher
temps?)). Frankly I am hopeing for a warm winter i.e. no temps below 16 C.
