The calcium studies that I have seen were done on adult fish, not
juveniles or larvae. So my statement that fish can get calcium from their
diet and from the water should be taken to mean that adult fish can get
adequte calcium from either source. (And if a feed is calcium poor,
obviously the fish will need to get it from the water.)
