The good thing about Juno is that they offer free dialup access - all
the other free (advertiser sponsored) email services like hotmail
rocketmail yahoo mail etc. all require that you have web access
already. AFAIK, someone correct me if I am wrong as I don't live in
the Land of the Free and have access to Juno. :)

The downside is that some of Juno's customers are less than satisfied
with the service - my feeling is that they get what they pay for ;)

Geocities has a free email offer when you get a free web site, works
with netscape mail also.
