OH BOY, Santa is on the net!!! I cant wait till March! but I will.

When I transfered my Glossolepsis sps to the 75g tank I think one of the
female incisus caught a pectoral fin in the net-it looks red at the base
since the move. It is only on one fin, no other fish have it. One of my
angels had the same thing some time ago that cleared up after a few days but
this is almost a week now and it is a little larger in redness spreading to
the rays of the fin. She is active, eating well and even spawned yesterday
(can she be that sick?) fins are intact and clear, no damage.
ulcer disease? blood disease? medicated food? antibiotics to entire tank ? or
I have a ten gallon that I could set up for her as a quarranteen tank if
needed to treat separately-she'll be cramped but fine.

I thought it might also be aggravated by the new
tank syndrome that I am waging a battle with (transfered old filter to new
tank, old tank water to new tank (~20g), added biozyme and coral life
bacteria several times, light feeding, 20% water changes every other day, and
ammo-lock2 as needed for ammonia.) GEESH, I hate new tank syndrome.
I guess on the bright side it will all be ready for the new wanamensis when
they arrive. The macullochi will go into the 55 with the angels adn the
turquoise. The turquoise, incisus and now the wanawhos have all spawned. some
fish are eating caviar everyday just about. Summer I'll get set up for a
breeding tank- or I'll never be able to catch any eggs-they are swallowed as
soon as they are layed!

Well, Thanks for the advice and Happy Holidays!!!
Dianne
