There is a product marketed in Europe called "Dactycid" that will get rid of
Hydra. It is also available in its pure form but I don't know the name of
the chemical. Perhaps one of our European listeners can tell us?

As far as I know this product is not available in Australia and I don't know
if it is available in Northern America. But it is Magic stuff when it comes
to getting rid of Hydra & planaria! Completely harmless to fish, fry &
plants but might knock down snails.
