We all get passionate about things that are important to us - and I think
that is a good thing. "Progress" isn't always a good thing - nor is blind
traditionalism. This is the age of information transfer and many of us only
get to hear one side of the story on which to form opinions. The beauty of
discussion groups is that we don't necessarily only get to preach to the
"converted".

It would be dreadful if we all read the same newspapers :-) I respect your
right to your opinion and hope evryone else does too - however that doesn't
mean that they all have to agree with it no matter which country they come
from.

Personally I don't feel that just because it is genetically modified that
anything is "crap" any more than you can say that every citizen from country
A is "arrogant" or from country B is "loud-mouthed" etc etc. I think each
situation need to be assessed on it's own merits. But then I also agree that
labelling should be "true" so consumers can exercise informed discretion.

Regards,
Bruce.
