In human medicine we use Metronidazole concurrently with other antibiotics
because of it's beneficial effects on anaerobic infections and some odd
organisms for example in treating Helicobacter pylori infections in the
stomach which are associated with peptic ulcer disease.

it has a very bitter taste and often causes nausea, after-taste and often
reacts badly with alcohol - I hope you don't mind all this useless info :-)
