Lakamora are a magic little fish and as Bruce says they look like a pocket
version of Goyder trifasciatas but show more red in the body rather than the
fins. The are easy to breed and are quiet prolific. When breeding the males
first show a blue colour, then white hot then finally a golden colour on the
nape. Beautiful, beautiful. Males will colour and start spawning at only 2-3 cm.

As to how they come here - I believe it was with Lufthansa economy class ;-)
