Hey Everybody...

Is there anything to be said about keeping juveniles with older
rainbows? I ask because I am about to receive some juvies (lacustris,
goyders) as well as some herbies about 7-8 months old. Seems I read
something on the list about different diets and/or different feeding
frequencies? How about the older ones terrorizing the youngsters or
other non-compatabilities? Any sort of feedback on this issue will be
welcome...

Also, I tried some of those Gammerus (sp) shrimp Rhonda told me about.
They were quite large, about 1.5 cm long. I could not believe the fury
with which my entire 75 gallon tank of juvenile just shredded them. It
was quite a sight. Too bad there weren't any left for the hair algae!
I think I need to try a more secretive approach to adding them to the
tank next time! Just thought I would share that.
