The signifers differ by population and the Ross River townsville (long fins=
, eurohaline conditions seems to prefefer some brackishwater and tends to b=
e a bigger fish) fish are still going in my tanks. I need to collect eggs =
and get the next generation going. Same with the cyanodorsalis. I have a =
second population of signifer a LFS strain smaller fish, shorter fins more =
color and perhaps more cold tolerance (been outside and it has gotten down =
to the 44 F range ) . Also have a bunch of furcatus that have been going f=
or almost 10 years. Take that back all of them have been going for almost =
10 years. But apparently all the furcatus in the markert LFS or otherwise =
are all from same collection unless there have been recent collections .

As a whole the cyanodorsalis and ross river sigs are fairly easy save for t=
heir warmer water and brackish water needs (this may also vary by populatio=
ns of cyanodorsalis).

Peple were breeding paskai in Honolulu. Even as of last year. Guy with the=
m puts other fish on aquabid. I did know of a breeder with paludicola a fe=
w years back and don't know anymore. mellis is another thing. They exist a=
nd just a matter of finding them keeping them going has been a problem. Mi=
ne always disapear, suspect they need eitther a temp shock or change in pho=
to period to induce spawning. I had connieae and spread them around years=
back and doubt they exist anymore.

As for Kiungas, don't hold your breath. AFAIK they are still not availabl=

to the US hobby. I have been trying to work on this, but the friend of mi=

who is a friend of the guy who has em all can't get him to share either. =

P. mellis are supposed to be a bit of a bear to maintain over the long ha=
ul,=20
but I would love to give em a shot since I live in a place with ideal wat=
er=20
for them.
