Truth be told, there are few I totally trust when it comes to certain
species/populations, as folks over time tend to "embellish" things like
which fish came from what sources and such. Sad but true. If you were
lurking earlier you would have seen that I was trying to determine if the M.
herbertaxelrodi that are available through that Rare Fish at LAX place were
pure or not. From the pics they put on their auctions for these fish they
don't look like it, yet the breeder for this operation is a pretty
respectable person in the rainbow hobby. I'm still on the fence and Gary
Lange is trying to help me to decide if they fish are good enough to get.
Many are not NEARLY as fussy as I am tho, and Herbies are fish that I am
fussier about than most. ;-) Take my opinion on this with a grain of salt.
