We didn't want you there anyway ;-) You know I'm kidding. Ok, Starbucks, 1 cup a day at $3. $15 a week for 50 weeks, there's $750. Sell a few more books on Aquabid and you're there, even from Deutchland. For the rest of us in the US, sell a few more fish on Aquabid. Prices at the auction went pretty well except for good-as-deads :-) Even the artificial strains were getting decent prices. The bargains were for pre-auction items and swaps that had been pre-arranged.
The next ALA is in Newark NJ April 22-30th, 2006.
ok, so you want to go to the ANGFA convention at the end of April. I guess you need to drink more Starbucks, probably 4 a day, then give them up :-) I saw the list of fish that are supposed to be available at that convention yesterday and it was mindblowing. None of that stuff showed up in Brisbane in 2003, the last auction. Any of the Melbourneites want to dis the Q'ers ;-) or are they just overachievers? There were sexlineata, C. axelrodi, oktediensis, gracilis, exquisita, most are no longer in the US.
cheers,
gary lange
