No I actually did not remember to bring any. :-( I was involved in the
show to the extent that I worked a lot of it (and got very little sleep!). I
remembered killies -- hard not to as it was a killi weekend -- but totally
spaced on the bow eggs. Heck I only have Coen River Tris cooperating right
now anyway, so not a huge selection. ;-)
We did have Dave Soares come out with a large number of bags of S.A. dwarf
cichlids. In past there have been folks who bring other things, and we
always have a few bags of plants show up. Generally tho, more than one or
two bags of something non-killi that's really nice, and no one wants em.
Prices are better elsewhere for non-killies and NWK took a huge portion of
the split this year. I only brought a few things, and the ones that made the
best money/generated the most interest were the Lampricthys tanganicus eggs.
I wouldn't have even brought them but for badgering by a couple folks there.
Talk about a killie that thinks it's a rainbow! ;-) They breed like em,
too. When they start to lay eggs, boy do they really go! Between them and
those Coens I could overrun the world! ;-) Gary gave me the first ones I
ever owned (years back), but these here are from a different source in OR.
Honestly from what I have seen young rainbows or trios of smaller adults
would be a better sell there than eggs, but that's just me.
