[acn-l] Counting Salmon

We have an opportunity to count salmon coming into the French Creek
stream system via a fish ladder through a pump station. We have been
unable to find people to count for the period October 15 through
December. There are three species of salmonids coming in. We would
like to identify them and count them. We estimate that from 100 to 500
coho salmon come through, but we are not sure. We think we could
probably use regular or video cameras, but don't have to view hours of
video and we aren't sure how to rig a camera so that we would get a
picture of the whole fish. I am sure there are many ways to deal with
this problem and would appreciate hearing any ideas.
