Don Archer, Utah DNR just received information from Dr. Chris Lueke
"luecke at cc.usu.edu" that a class of his identified an exotic Daphnid
Daphnia lumholtzi in Willard reservoir-Utah. This exotic orginated in
Africa and early information from the SE indicates it may have major
ecological consequences because its long spine may make it difficult
for young fish to eat.
