Subject: Lake Management
Rob, I am in charge of a fish committee for a small lake or pond. It
is approximately 17 acres and its maximum depth is 80 feet. We stock
this lake annually with various fish. Currently a few of the 55
residents on our lake are complaining about the cost per year of
stocking the lake.
What I am looking for is information on what would happen to our lake if
we decided to discontinue this program. I have explianed to these few
individuals that it would affect the re-sale value of our homes, but
what would happen to the Ecology of our lake. Would you have any
recommendations as to where I could get resources on this subject?
