Hello Glen. I believe you folks get our news releases (we haven't sent many
out lately due to concentration on our radio show), but you might also find
useful info from time to time on our web site at:
http://info.alaska.edu:70/0h/UA/UA_Fairbanks/SeaGrant/home.html
We are revamping this web site, with our new, much improved one scheduled
to go online in a month or so. The url will change too. In the new site, we
will include a way that you can subscribe to a "what's going on at Sea
Grant" automatic update transmission. We will use that feature to send out
periodic bits and pieces of information about things happening at Sea
Grant, such as announcements of upcoming meetings (we have a big one going
on right now in Anchorage on forage fishes--info can be found in our web
site under the "Conferences, Symposia, and Workshops" heading.), new
publications, etc.
Our new radio show, Arctic Science Journeys, has just been picked up by
Voice of America, so we are pretty happy about that massive world coverage.
Scripts are online and recordings of our two latest stories can be heard by
calling (907) 474-1806. Occasionally we'll do stories about salmon.
