Research Assistant Wanted for Project Seahorse

-Full time from 1 July 1999, with funding for >4 years. Position based
at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.

-To work on issues relating to marine conservation and reproductive
ecology, with a focus on seahorses.

-You will be involved in data analysis, writing scientific and popular
articles, supporting teaching activity, library and internet research,
extensive correspondence, supervising undergraduate assistants,
communicating with research teams on three continents, logistic
planning, maintaining the laboratoryŐs computers, supporting a web site,
and a host of other challenges.

-Must be self-motivated, highly organised and eligible to work in
Canada.

-Need a M.Sc. or equivalent research experience, quantitative and
statistical ability, excellent writing skills, familiarity with
appropriate software, and experience with Macintosh computers.

-Most importantly, you must be calm enough to balance several tasks at
once in a demanding, high-energy environment.
