Most of the respondents have professions directly connected with
the subjects appearing on the list, particularly aquatic
conservation.

For all the respondents, this list has enhanced their knowledge
of the field.
> 3. Was the list instrumental in developing relationships
> with persons having similar interests?
For some of the respondents, the list led to the establishment
of a variety of contacts and for some others the list wa helpful
in making connections with people they already knew.
> 4. How hard or easy to use do you find the list?
For the majority of the people, the list is very easy to use.
> 5. Does the list meet all your needs? If yes, explain in
> which way. If no, state the needs that remain
> uncovered.
For each of the respondents the list is a good way to communicate
rapidly and efficiently and to get relevant answers. It suppresses
the inconveniences of distance for some regions
and promotes the exchange of different ideas and points of view
with people having the same interests.
> 6. In wich way do you think such a list can benefit scientists
> and/or the general public living in remote or peripheral areas?
For the majority the respondents, the list brings some advantages:
better communications and interesting exchanges with scientists
from differents countries. Some hope people should devote
more care to the NET protocole.
> 6. Finally, outside aquatic conservation, what
> are your main spheres of interest?
Besides aquaculture the main spheres of interest are:
entomology, urology, horticulture, information and technology,
oceanography, etc.
