I'm not sure what the current situation is with Rob - I think maybe the
funding has run out? He did say that he would try to bring me some back next
time he goes out there but I think that might be some time. That's the
problem - when funding ends so does the research work. I think they are
being "looked after" by the DEH (National Parks) and they don't have a very
good track record when it comes to aquatic species. They don't even know
what species exists in much of their areas ;(
